JTD are buzzing to be making a participatory performance all about Bees….

Commissioned by State of Emergency, Hive will work with a mixed cast of children, youth dancers and JTD company members to make a performance for Bristol Food Connections Festival on Saturday 2 May 2015.

With a storyline developed by playwright and poet Dr Edson Burton, costumes by carnival artist Ruth Ramsey and a plot developed by the children, ‘Hive’ pitches an evil, honey stealing Bee Bot against the hive. Can the bees save the honey from the clutches of the bee bot? Will there be flowers this summer? Can our Queen out flounce the man made Bee machine?

Join us and find out at Bristol Food Connections, Sat 2 May – watch this space for times and place.

‘Hive’ is supported by Bristol City Council and State of Emergency Productions.
